Iraqi marines practice visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) techniques with Coast Guardsmen aboard USCGC Wrangell (WPB 1332) during Exercise Rapid Talon. Rapid Talon gives Iraqi marines the opportunity to utilize VBSS skills so they can better conduct Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the North Arabian Gulf (NAG). MSO help set conditions for security and stability in the NAG and protect Iraq's sea-based infrastructure, which provides the Iraqi people the opportunity for self-determination.
