An Iraqi marine searches for contraband during a mock boarding of USCGC Wrangell (WPB 1332) for Exercise Rapid Talon. Rapid Talon gives Iraqi marines the opportunity to utilize VBSS skills so they can better conduct Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the North Arabian Gulf (NAG). MSO help set conditions for security and stability in the NAG and protect Iraq's sea-based infrastructure, which provides the Iraqi people the opportunity for self-determination.
