U.S. 5 TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 15, 2017) - Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd Class Austin Moshier, a native of Amarillo, Texas, assigned to the aircraft intermediate maintenance department aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), uses a forklift to move supplies in the ship’s hangar bay during a replenishment-at-sea. America is the flagship for the America Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
