Michigan Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Joshua Rutledge of Company B, 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Regiment based out of Saginaw, Michigan, and members of his squad pinpoint their current position on a map of the area as part of a land navigation orienteering exercise at the Danish Home Guard Nymindegab Training Center in Denmark September 13, 2017, as part of Exercise Viking Star 2017. Exercise Viking Star 2017 is an Overseas Deployment for Training (ODT) involving the 1-125th Infantry Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard. Soldiers from Bravo Company based in Saginaw, Michigan, conduct combative training, orienteering and joint live fire exercises with the Danish Home Guard and Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry.
