The VACIS is a recent addition to the Sather Air Base vehicle inspection arsenal and increases the capability to provide security to the base. Bolyard is deployed from the 355th Security Forces Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., and is a native of Thompsonville, Ill.
