PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 23, 2017) Aviation Machinist’s Mate Airman Johnathan Domescik salutes an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Indians" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6 as it retrieves cargo from the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during a replenishment-at-sea. Theodore Roosevelt is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group's mission readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real-world scenarios.
