170811-N-SF508-503 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 11, 2017) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2, Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures Company (ExMCM Co.) 202, handle lines while recovering a 8.5-meter rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) during training aboard M/V Shelia Bordelon. ExMCM Co. 202 consists of an EODMU 2 MCM platoon, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 Unmanned Systems Platoon, and the Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center (NOMWC) Post Mission Analysis Cell. EODMU 2 provides credible, combat-ready EOD forces capable of deploying anywhere, anytime in support of national interests.
