170812-N-SF508-059 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 12, 2017) A Sailor assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2, Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures Company (ExMCM Co.) 202, searches for a ship wreck using a Seabotix Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) during training aboard M/V Shelia Bordelon. ExMCM Co. 202 consists of an EODMU 2 MCM platoon, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 Unmanned Systems Platoon, and the Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center (NOMWC) Post Mission Analysis Cell. EODMU 2 provides credible, combat-ready EOD forces capable of deploying anywhere, anytime in support of national interests.
