Soldiers of the 19th and 20th Bulgarian contingents of the Bulgarian Armed Forces salute Col. Tsekovski, outgoing 19th Bulgarian contingent commander, and incoming 20th Bulgarian contingent commander, Col. Gerdzhikov after a transition of authority ceremony Feb. 15, at Camp Phoenix in Kabul, Afghanistan. Gerdzhikov will lead the 20th, which will provide force protection for several different bases throughout the KBC.
