    ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 2, 2017) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Equipment) Airman Tyanna Fitzmeir, from Wichita, Kansas, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) air department, conducts a general cleaning of the Advanced Arresting Gear cable shock absorber. Ford is currently underway conducting test and evaluation operations.
