Recruits from India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, battle each other during Pugil Sticks I at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug. 2. Recruits were encouraged to use any practiced technique necessary to overcome their opponent during their single match. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate Oct. 13.
