Marines said, “We want to leave the beaches better than we found them for the next Marines that come.” Based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, 3/8 is currently forward deployed to 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
