1st Lt. Scott Wares, a platoon leader with 1st Platoon, Charley Company, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Infantry Division, comes out of a hidden room while searching for possible explosives during a mission to find weapon caches in a northwestern neighborhood of Baghdad, Feb. 11. Wares, a native of Orange Country, Calif., lead his team throughout numerous complexes in a vigorous endeavor to clean the streets of the nation's capital.
