U.S. Army Capt. Kaitlin Whitmore, commander of Charlie Company, 215th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and her brother, U.S. Army Capt. Scott Rayburn, incoming commander of Alpha Company, 37th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, were able to see each other briefly when she attended his first change-of-command ceremony in Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq, July 1, 2017.
