    U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Andres Gomez, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense specialist, observes the two role players as they head towards the decontamination center at Pohang, South Korea, June 30, 2017, during the Korean Marine Exercise Program 17-7. The scenario provided U.S. and ROK Marines with an opportunity to practice the skills necessary to detect and identify CBRN threats together. KMEP is a continuous bilateral training exercise that promotes stability on the Korean Peninsula and enhances the ROK and U.S. alliance.
