Soldiers assigned to Company B, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, conduct a combined patrol with troopers of the 2nd Iraqi Army Division, Dec. 16. Soldiers of 2nd Sqdn., 7th Cav. Regt., patrolled as part of the Operation Leader Forge training teaching Iraqi soldiers basic soldiering skills to train up their units. Soldiers of the 4th AAB, 1st Cav. Div. assumed their mission to advise, assist, train and mentor Iraqi Security Forces as part of U.S. Division-North in support of Operation New Dawn.
