170622-N-SA412-102 NORFOLK (June 22, 2017) Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1654, assigned to the Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 2, pulls away from the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) after completing a stern gate marriage training evolution. Wasp is currently preparing for their upcoming homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan where they are slated to relieve the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
