170622-N-SA412-011 NORFOLK (June 22, 2017) Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) conduct a stern gate marriage with Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1654, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 2, during a training evolution. Wasp is currently preparing for their upcoming homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan where they are slated to relieve the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
