In a commissioning ceremony held in Summerall Chapel at The Citadel, Charleston, S.C., May 8, 2015, six members of the S.C. Army National Guard were pinned as 2nd Lieutenants. Following the commissioning ceremony the Guard’s newest leaders were given the Oath of Commissioned Officers by U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Gregory W. Batts, Assistant Adjutant General, S.C. Army National Guard.
