    170604-N-LC424-0561 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 4, 2017) Chief Boatswain’s Mate Eugene Palmer, a San Diego native, assigned to the deck department of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), stands watch as Sailors unload a landing craft, air cushion in the ship’s well deck. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
