Capt. The Seikan War occurs bi-annually and incorporates a multitude of aircraft from the U.S. Air Force and Japanese Air Forces into air-to-air combat and suppression of enemy forces scenarios. The 35th Fighter Wing operates a fleet of more than 40 combat-ready aircraft to perform air superiority functions at a moment’s notice in compliance with war time contingencies.
