Two U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor aircraft assigned to the 3rd Wing, Air Force Reserve, escort HC-130J Combat King II aircraft assigned to the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard on its return journey to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, June 3, 2017. The Raptors were training for an intercept mission in the area when they seized the opportunity to intercept the HC-130J, and then provided the Combat King II with an escort back to JBER.
