Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training Command personnel engage local civic leaders during a recent mission to the Union of Comoros. Engaging local nationals during any civic assistance activity is essential to the success of such operations and was the subject of military-to-military training delivered to Comoros security forces as part of the larger Maritime Civil Affairs mission.
