Iraqi Police Canine Program participants, 14 veterinarian assistants and three veterinarian doctors from throughout Iraq, march during a ceremony at the Baghdad Police College Nov. 7. The two-month program is designed to familiarize professionals in the veterinary field with basic anatomy and psychology of canine, and provide hands-on instruction so they can treat explosive-detection dogs serving at entry control points throughout Iraq.
