U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers like Sgt. Kevin Warren, 316th Mobility Augmentation Company, 844th Engineer Battalion , 926th Engineer Brigade, 412th Theater Engineer Command, based in Chattanooga, Tenn., found themselves reading wet lensatic compasses and writing on wet paper during the Combined Best Warrior Competition's Land Navigation event in a steady rain on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Contestants hopefully take the title of Best Noncommissioned Officer or Best Soldier and move on to represent the 412th Theater Engineer Command, 416th Theater Engineer Command and 76th Operational Response at the USARC Best Warrior Competition.
