(April 16, 2017) Equipment Operator Taylor Achterberg, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, from Madison, Wis., backs up a skid-steer with a forklift attachment into a U.S. Air Force C17, from the 62nd Airlift Wing, for transport to Timor-Leste on the flight line of Naval Base Ventura County. The forklift will be used by Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3’s Construction Civic Action Detail in Timor-Leste. NMCB 3 is relieving NMCB 5 as the forward deployed NMCB in the Pacific.
