A religious statue, appearing to depict a robed figure (likely a saint or the Virgin Mary), is being lifted by a crane using yellow straps and chains. The operation is taking place adjacent to a partially demolished or damaged white masonry building, likely a church or religious institution. At least two workers wearing hard hats and high-visibility clothing are visible on the ground overseeing the lift.

Workers from Shores Builders and Construction lower one of the 6,300-pound concrete eagles from the McMackin Armory in Salem, Illinois, on to a trailer for transporttaion. The two eagles were salvaged as the armory was demolished and donated to the cities of Salem, Illinois and Mount Vernon, Illinois.
