Retired Command Sergeant Major Mark Howe of Salem, Illinois, made this table from some of the salvaged wood floor of the McMackin Armory in Salem, Illinois. Howe served in various positions in the armory until he retired in 2010 and built the table to commemorate the armory and those who served in it.
