Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany Marines escort fallen Marine Pfc. James O. Whitehurst to Cowarts Baptist Church Cemetery in Cowarts, Ala., for burial, April 12. Whitehurst was killed in action Nov. 20, 1943, at the battle of Tarawa during World War II.
