CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Dr. Zev Harel shares his story of hope, resilience and survival with the Sailors and staff of Naval Hospital Camp Lejuene during a Holocaust Remembrance ceremony held there Apr. 13, 2017. Dr. Harel is a survivor of the Auschwitz, Mauthausen and Ebensee concentration camps. He was liberated by the U.S. Army's 3rd Calvary at the age of 15. Harel and his wife traveled to Naval Hospital Camp Lejuene from their home in Greensboro, N.C. to share their story with the Sailors and staff of NHCL.
