A New York State Police Diver emerges from the water after making sure area is safe for plungers April 8 at the 2017 Polar Plunge at Sackets Harbor, New York. The Divers wear the dry suit that keeps them well insulated in cold waters, said Sgt. Taylor Ellis of the New York State Police.
