A male sailor wearing glasses and a dark uniform is looking through a bearing circle or alidade mounted on a ship's bridge wing. The vessel appears to be a naval warship, likely an aircraft carrier or large surface combatant, positioned near a coastline with mountains visible in the background. The sailor is also holding a radio handset, suggesting he is conducting navigation or watchstanding duties.
