GUARDIAN CENTER, Perry, Ga., March 29, 2017- Videographers and photographers from the 124th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Georgia Army National Guard, document Guardsmen the 810th Engineer Company (Sapper), Georgia National Guard, Swainsboro, Ga, using a portable pulley system to rescue a simulated casualty from a manhole during Vigilant Guard 17. The purpose of the Vigilant Guard exercise is for state, local and federal agencies to partner with the Georgia Guard with the intent of sharpening their disaster response efforts.
