Members of the 348th Air Defense Battalion march past Romanian public and military officials in a show of pride commemorating Romanian veterans, with the U.S. Army command group for the base in tow at the 36th Infantry Regiment Memorial in front of Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania on April 1, 2017. The U.S. senior contingent at the base attended the preceding wreath laying ceremony in honor of Romanian veterans to show their commitment to their Romanian Allies both in the military and in the public spheres. The U.S. is working closely with their Romanian Allies as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a NATO mission between the US and its Allies and partners to enhance regional stability as well as to enhance friendships in Europe.
