Col. Peter Buck presents the Congressional Gold Medal certificate of recognition to retired Sgt. Maj. Julius Jameson aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, March 25. Jameson accepted the medal on behalf of the late Willis Jameson, a Montford Point Marine. The Congressional Gold Medal is one of the highest awards given to civilian in the U.S. Buck is the commanding officer of MCAS Beaufort.
