    Fake injuries were added to simulated casualities in order to enhance the realism of the training during Vigilant Guard at the Guardian Center on March 29, 2017. The exercise provides National Guard units with the opportunity to improve on cooperation and relationships with not only local and state agencies, but military and federal partners as will to insure proper preparation for emergencies and catastrophic events (US Army photo by Pfc.
