Retired Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Ralph Barrett was awarded a grand-prize in the Army & Air Force Exchange Service's third annual Your Holiday Bill Is On Us sweepstakes during a presentation at the MacDill Air Force Base Exchange, March 15, 2017. Barrett, a 78-year-old Lakeland resident and Vietnam Veteran, had his $87 MILITARY STAR balance paid in full and received a statement credit of more than $2,400. The Exchange received more than 4.7 million entries in the worldwide contest between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. MacDill Exchange Store Manager Lajima Marshall-Pierce, left, Exchange Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Jim Jordan and 6th Air Mobility Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Melanie Noel congratulated Barrett during the event.
