Gaudin, a food service specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, scoops strawberries onto cheesecake while preparing his dessert dish for the 4th quarter chef of the quarter competition at the base mess hall, Sept. 23. Gaudin placed first in the competition with his meal. He served beef cordon bleu, garlic-parmesan potatoes, asparagus and strawberry cheesecake.
