Spc. Marcus Hunter, C Company, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, salutes WWII veteran Jesse Oxendine, of the former 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, at the 325th GIR reunion in Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 25. Oxendine, who presented gifts to the five Paratroopers who attended the event, joked that he wanted to know what it felt like to be saluted, and requested that each Trooper salute in order to receive his gift.
