A WWII veteran of the former 325th Glider Infantry Regiment salutes a candle in memoriam of fallen soldiers at the final 325th GIR reunion in Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 25. Five 2BCT Paratroopers attended the event to pay respect to the veterans, whose unit paved the way for 2BCT.
