STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. -- Bg. Gen. Donald C. Bolduc, commanding general of U.S. Special Operations Command Africa, tours the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's international Partner Nation memorial during a brief by NAVSCIATTS Cmdr. Clay Pendergrass.
Bolduc served as the keynote speaker at the recent graduation of NAVSCIATTS' Strategic Leaders International Course. SLIC is NAVSCIATTS' flagship course designed to advance and further develop the strategic thinking and planning skills of international military leaders and civilian equivalent Partner Nation personnel from government and law enforcement agencies. Six Partner Nation forces from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kenya, Jordan, São Tomé and Príncipe and Oman graduated from the 17th iteration of SLIC.
NAVSCIATTS is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic Combatant Commanders' Theater Security Cooperation.
NAVSCIATTS trains and educates Partner Nation special operations forces, SOF-like forces and SOF enablers across the tactical, operational and strategic spectrums through in-residence and Mobile Training Team courses of instruction.
