Mike Stockdale tees off during the Commander’s Cup golf tournament on the Sound of Freedom Golf Course at Cherry Point. Many attending golfers said that it was a great experience and cited the condition of the course, the pleasure of the new Miller’s Landing Consolidated Club, and the efforts of the Marine Corps Community Services staff that catered the event. Also, $17,000 worth of prizes and gift certificates were given out to the participants.
