Retired Staff Sgt. Carla Swanson sets up for a putt on the Sound of Freedom Golf Course during the Commander’s Cup tournament on Cherry Point, Sept. 19. This year had the highest turnout in the 22-year history of the tournament with 224 golfers. Some golfers came from as far away as Texas to play in the tournament.
