A Military Medical Symposium was held during Flintlock 2017 in N'djamena, Chad, on Mar. 1, 2017. The three-day symposium brings together military and civilian experts from military and civilian health services of six countries. Most presentations will revolve around stability, care and transportation of those wounded in action on the African continent. Flintlock is an annual special operations exercise involving more than 20 nation forces that strengthens security institutions, promotes multilateral sharing of information, and develops interoperability among partner nations in North & West Africa.
