Larry LeGree, speaks with media before the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan's (LHD 5) departs from Naval Station Norfolk as part of a scheduled deployment. PHIBRON 8 is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (BATARG) deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in Europe and the Middle East.
