Soldiers from the 58th Combat Engineer Company, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, place a Bangalore torpedo under a wire obstacle during the 58th CEC’s live-detonation training at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 31. The Bangalore is designed to clear a path through the wire obstacle wide enough for Soldiers to run through.
