Spc. Steven Stewart, a native of Richmond, Calif., assigned to th3 58th Combat Engineer Company, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, attaches a block of C4 explosive to a steel beam during the during the 58th CEC’s live-detonation training at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 31. The steel beams were used to simulate beams used in buildings and bridges.
