PENSACOLA, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2017) - David Alexander III, Chief of Police at Pensacola Police Department, receives a plaque from Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Chi Patrick, after meeting and speaking with Sailors at Naval Aeromedicine Medical Institute (NAMI) during a Black History Month event. Alexander, Pensacola’s first black chief of police, was invited by the diversity committee at Navy Medicine Operational Training Center (NMOTC), NAMI’s parent command, to be special guest speaker at the event.
