A Peshmerga soldier uses a head lamp and mirror in order to see an improvised explosive device planted between a piece of cinder block and the wall on Feb. 13, 2017. The device turned out to be a hand grenade with a loosened pin attached to a trip wire. The day's training was conducted near Black Tiger training area in Iraq by German soldiers as part of the Kurdistan Training Coordination Center. The KTCC is part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity as a global coalition dedicated to the training, advising and assistance of Kurdish forces to defeat ISIS in Iraq.
