Sr. Airman Lundy activates a Combat Survivor Evader Locator during a Combat Search and Rescue training exercise. Sr. Airman Lundy is playing the part of a survivor who was shot down and needs evacuated on February 15th, 2017 near Arivaca, Arizona. The exercise allows pilots of the A-10 to train in coordinating the location, identification and protection of survivors as well as the escort of rescue helicopters.
